The key

Between Brookings and Gold Beach, Oregon is a cluster of large rocks near the shore.

Accessibility to them varies with the tide, and as the sun drops, it plays hide and seek around them.

But what caught my attention was the key hole opening in one rock, that leads to the edge of another rock behind it.

In this picture, the pyramid-shaped rock above the key hole, that is bathed in golden sun, is actually part of the same rock as the key hole.

I took this photo at low tide. The key hole and where I stood to shoot it would both be covered by water at high tide.DSC_0376
