Right now is a great time to look at stars, because the moon is overhead during the day.
We stopped at the north rim of the Grand Canyon only about 80 minutes after sunset, to see what we could see.
Yep, Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. I think the bright yellowish spot on the horizon in the center is West Yellowstone. The bluish cast to the sky at right is a lingering effect from sunset.
The Milky Way still shows up well in these clear, dark, cloudless Wyoming skies. Can’t wait to shoot a little bit later at night!
Gotta “LOVE” those Wyoming skies. Enjoy Folks, We are 🙂
Big sky all day, big sky all night…glad you’re enjoying the show with us, Roger!
Cool photo! I love it.
Xlent, Ken! The camera sees the colors in the Milky Way…they’re too faint for our eyes to register.
