The headline is punctuated properly….because Ross and Ryan explored Albemarle’s City Lake Park with both of their mothers today!
Sharon walked with both, and when they were finished, Ross needed to get the lead out with Robyn (because Ryan is SUCH a slow, careful walker!).
Along the way, we encountered a North Carolina native up in a tree. Mistletoe grows in these clusters, and is quite simple to find in the fall & winter because it grows in trees that have lost their leaves, causing the green mistletoe leaves to stand out. The plant is a parasite that spreads in a tree, and can diminish the tree’s growth or even kill it by using an inordinate amount of its water and mineral nutrients. Merry Christmas, indeed!
So nice to see Sharon, my old neighbor!! Still pretty as ever. Love, Nancy
