We don’t have to be in Dayton until tomorrow, so why rush back when the weather’s like this and Mounds State Recreation Area is practically in your path? So we stopped for the afternoon and night.
Good move….nice place!
Check out the two rascals we found down at the beach: the little one was actually trapped in a dumpster, and pretty grubby from his endeavors with its contents.
Robyn’s birding buddies should take note of the other: she thinks it may be a rare Truly Bald-headed Eagle.
Ross and Ryan finally got some rest when I decided to pause and ponder the beauty of the massive oak that overlooks the beach.
The covered bridge was actually at last night’s park, Versailles. We caught it on the way out this morning.
You have found some lovely spots. I’m glad for you. I think this is a Turkey Vulture.
Love your picture of the “dumpster diver”! Would take several repeats of today’s weather. Enjoy!
